In the latest newsletter, you will see a few key reminders to support your student’s success:

• ASPEN: Check grades and assignments weekly. Encourage students to take responsibility for their work while staying informed. Family account help is available for account issues (see link in the newsletter)

• Homework: Students should complete homework nightly in a quiet, phone-free space. For athletes or extracurricular participants, homework should take priority after activities.

• Getting Involved: Encourage your child to join clubs, attend school events, and seek extra help to build connections. You can learn more about clubs offered. 

• Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial. Missing 10% or more of school days is considered chronic absenteeism and can impact achievement. 

• Family Support: Food assistance is available. Take-home food bags can be requested. Donations of non-perishable items or paper bags are welcome. Additional support links are also available.

• Upcoming Event: Coventry Career & Technical School Open House – October 16, 6–8 p.m. @ Coventry High School.
